The Xbox One generation was an absolutely polarizing place in Xbox console history. From its promising start coming off a successful Xbox 360 era, to the cataclysmic debacle of digital messaging and TV saturation. The Dukes bring in Lord King David of the Iron Lords Podcast to discuss the highs, the many lows, and the hope for the future at the end of a fateful generation.

Great episode. I remember kinect killing Xbox for me. Family played with the camera for a day and never touched it again. Also king is hilarious 😂

digital only sucks why would you want to lock yourself into one individual marketplace with no options. There is very few benefits to going all digital comparison to having physical media. You're gonna start seeing when digital only has a massive share of the market compared to physical that you're gonna be paying full price for games for years after they release. What killed me wanting to get an xbox one was that always online and the push for all digital. I am definitely enjoying some of the games they produced though on my series X.

Another killer episode on Dukes. I’m primarily a sacred symbols guy but I can’t miss this stuff - I love Xbox too. Love Cog (and mrmattyplays - get well), and King brought some fire to this episode. Love it. Nice job Cog ⚙️
