A little over a week after the industry's biggest news yet and with some time on our side, the dust is beginning to settle on Xbox latest acquisition. With things beginning to marinate, we now have an opportunity to dissect all of the legal hullabaloo that has been circulating. Sony's response, Phil Spencer's "intent" or "desires," and the revival of dead Activision IP are lingering in the aftermath of an earth shattering deal. Joining us are Rand Al Thor and Jez Corden of Xbox Two in an Avengers like crossover to sift through it all. It's not just Activision in the cycle anymore! Gears Of War looks to be set to get the 'Master Chief Collection Treatment' next as rumors have cropped up for the long overdue remaster. There's plenty to be excited about, but it doesn't stop there as we also have a plethora of newly announced Respawn Star Wars games. All isn't well in a galaxy far, far away considering that the newly re-revealed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from TT Games has reportedly suffered from crunch. Oh, and other important things like is an onion sandwich legal or what condiment is Xbox? Ya know, the essentials.

Big titty drinker

Xbox two guys are not my favorite. But I'll tolerate them to listen to the dukes this week😒

This episode is THICK. Thank you guys.

Pretty sure the Xbox 360 servers for gears are still on, played a couple matches last week. Would like to see a proper port either way

This is kind of a lot of work, but grilled cheese sandwiches with onion rings inside.

Brandon Soto

Dude, fluffernutter sandwiches are awesome.

Hey I just want to clear something up. Lego Star wars the Skywalker saga is in no way a remake. Well it is covering films that have been covered before it is a completely new game from episode 1 to episode 9.

Thanks for answering my question. Just to confirm I'm English and love cheese and onion. I 100% recommend you try it. Here's a quick recipe Medium heat, glug of oil and a knob of butter, fry sliced onion for ten minutes with a teaspoon of smoked Paprika. Toast two slices of bread (I prefer sourdough) and butter generously Optional - rub a clove of garlic on the toast. Once the onion is ready then spread it over the toast Cover that in some cheese (I use cheddar) Put a few drops of Worcestershire sauce over the cheese Grill until the cheese has melted You will love it

Big shout out to cheese and onion sandwiches and marmite (which sucks) from those in the UK

Getting posh with the garlic, paprika and sourdough bread. Keep it real, massive slice of cheese, white onion on a crusty cob, with a pack of salt and vinegar crips if you wish to get fancy!

I’m a little surprised Asobo is never tossed around when the topic of independent studio acquisitions come up. Personally I think they’d be a great get for XGS. They have the MS connection on flight sim and seem to really be coming into their own on 3rd persona narrative games.

Hey Matty got some bad news about Limited Run doing a physical copy of Deaths Door. Special Reserve Games actually did them already. https://specialreservegames.com/games/deaths-door/ But some good news I thought you might be interested in. Special Reserve Games is opening preorders for the Weird West in a couple months.

Love the crossover with Xbox Two!

I'm not mad at onions sandwich the way its described. I imagine it like a grilled patty melt with no meat. I'm only rolling if it's grilled caramelized onions.

2022-02-02 15:21:46 Came to call BS on some of Jez's English/British proclamations, I don't know where he's from in the UK but he sounds Southern so it might be why he's so wrong. 😂 Marmite tastes meaty, not "like salt". Ironically it tastes more meaty than Bovril. Never heard of Garlic Mustard. Common types are English, Dijon, Wholegrain & German. The weird yellow goop yankeedoodles call mustard is most similar to German mixed with Mayo I guess. Raw onion sandwich with cheese *might* be traditional but not common. Cheese and onion as a flavour combo is (he got that right). Corned Beef & Onion on a sandwich is much more common imo. See it as a combo in a lot of sandwich shops in the north. Jez, you should have elaborated on Pickled Onions not at all tasting like raw onion, much more similar to the pickle you'll get on a burger.

Just a heads up that Gears 2 and 3’s online hasn’t been pulled yet. You can still find games on Gears 3.
