In a week and change, Geoff Kegihley's annual gala-type affair (once called The VGAs and now simply called The Game Awards) takes place. Within, we expect the usual: Lots of industry fart-sniffing, incestual voting, and the rest. However, there's an important component to the show that we care a great deal about: Game reveals and other pieces of important news. We've dedicated this episode of + to just that, each selecting five games we think will be revealed, expanded-upon, dated, and more. From Metal Gear Solid and Breath of the Wild 2 to Crossfire X and Final Fantasy XVI, needless to say, we've many prospective news items to talk about. We can only hope even a few come true.

Thank you! Love this kind of content. Often imitated, never duplicated! A Colin prediction episode is the best.

You guys have been helping me through an incredibly difficult time in my life, thanks for reliably bringing some levity to all of us. Also, that Kojima bit at the very end was great

lol at the Mission Impossible ending. I’ll sacrifice all the game reveals just to get Fares win GOTY and say he did it.

I recently got told I have high eye pressure from one of those tests. I was like what the actual fuck does that event mean.

Ok, BUT them announcing, heres Hassan Karaman and Kojima walks through the door and Geoff looking all astonished like 'wait... your Kojima, Not Hassan?!?' Is perfect Game Awards level of cringey shit

Does Factions launch day & date on PS5, PS4, AND PC? I think it has to launch on PC same day. It just kind of seems like the new expectation/standard.

Chris, didn't Playdead already announce Sommerville?

We haven't heard much about Witchfire since it was revealed in 2017. I would love to hear an update and a possible release date.
