Square Enix’s controversial conclusion to Final Fantasy 7 Remake is expounded upon with the release of its latest DLC FF7 Episode INTERmission. It’s a story worth diving straight into with familiar character Yuffie, the visual enhancements on PS5 (with FF7R INTERGRADE), and all the huge lore implications! Great listen. Enjoyed to the evolving cast or hosts. In never played the original, so it was interesting to those who had opinion.

Didn't like this one, things are getting too kinda funny these days. I prefer to have the core personalities, as that's where I want my support going. I'd go to the iron lords patreon if I wanted to hear them. Might not be popular opinion to say but I find myself being much less engaged these days because I don't know who's voice is going to be here.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I also find this brand of feedback relatively hollow, as all of the shows where you "know who's voice is going to be there" are still there, happening as often as they used to, if not more. Thanks for listening. -Colin

I've only played a few hours of FF7 remake, but still really enjoyed this conversation. Makes me want to go back and finish the game..

I re-download ff7 remake to play this and figured I should play through the game again b4 the dlc. Got to aeriths part and stopped playing. Probably wouldn't have gotten dlc, i just wasn't feeling it and put it aside. These guys enthusiasm for it literally made me just pay for it and download. So thank you for this podcast, got me excited. Can't wait to try it out. Got me hyped for condor and the new gameplay mechanics.

This was a great spoilercast! Hoeg continues to be a great contributor and I enjoyed the enthusiasm from Cog and Addict. I just hope we get Colin’s thoughts eventually. It’s weird getting an LSM spoilercast about Final Fantasy without Colin. Just like it would be weird if it were a Megaman or Castlevania spoilercast without Colin.

I can understand where your coming from. It's true the original podcast is still the same crew. But with sacred symbols plus I also though that would be the same crew. A large part of my feedback is im a creature of habit as well so I tend to favor consistency. That's my podcast baggage :) So when a new podcast pops up in the feed, I hope for Chris Colin or Dustin. I do love the guest appearance along with yourself or the crew. But recently there's been so much overlap with the iron lords podcast and they have their own platform. I'd like to see guests who don't already have a podcast or platform.

Addict must be bad at Fort Condor to struggle on normal, cause it’s simple. 😄 Only 2 hard battles on hard and once you know the strat for those, it’s manageable. I didn’t know anything about 7 going into Remake and I loved it. Made me go back and start the original. So regardless of what they do in the next part, I’m in. Overall, this was a great listen. Loved the enthusiasm here.

Only 40min in (and first time hearing Cog) Amazing discussion! The remake was my GOTY and the dlc was great too. Hearing people gush over the game is like comfort food to me.

Another great episode! I loved FF7R, I did think it had pacing issues but it was really good. Yuffie DLC was amazing, just wish it was longer. I think having the context of the original FF7 really helps appreciate the remake more and understand that things probably aren't going to go the way they did in the original.
