Video works for me. But dude have you seen the Reddit thread with all the evidence that leads back to kojima? If you google the game that they “released” to ps4 you’ll find two steam pages one in Japanese and one in English that hints at an original game that was cancelled called “the lost tape” if you google it it will bring yo the soundtrack for metal gear solid v on Amazon

You all missed MAJOR context for the Scott Cawthon situation. He was receiving death threats and was doxxed. People were threatening him and his family over donations. He also donated to Tulsi Gabbard in addition to the others. Thisnis unacceptable and Chris' lackadaisical approach to this topic is really odd to me. Maybe this context changes his opinion either way felt this should be out there.

Chris not being concerned about Scott Cawthon being chased out of the industry (if that's why he's retiring) just because he's already rich is pretty sad to hear. We have to push back against this, regardless of their status. The poor guy was doxxed and he recieved death threats, which was also aimed at his family. He said his wife was terrified to be in her own home. The lack of concern from Chris, just because Scott is rich didn't sit right with me. And the most concerning thing of all, Colin shave his glorious viking beard!

I know you guys talked about the infamous ending and how they picked the good ending as canon they did that through the trophy list and more people picked the good ending so that's why they went with it so I don't know what bioware is gonna do cause I don't think they can even do that

I get that BGS games are not your cup of tea and that Starfield might not be your cup of tea, Colin. BUT, your comment of "Starfield? That's cute" in regards to Silent Hill being announced is strange. Silent Hill is an astronomically smaller ip I would argue than ANY BGS ip. Including Starfield. I love Silent Hill, don't get me wrong, but It absolutely wouldn't reduce the reveal of starfield to "cute". Lol.

Towards the end of the show, Chris misspeaking by saying "Like Cesar Romero, slow, 'Walking Dead'-type zombies" got me laughing real good hahaha I would love to see Cesar's version of zombies i.e. them wearing clown makeup and cursing Batman every chance they get.

As an aside from the James Bond being a man conversation, I just wanted to point out that James Bond already exists as a woman in fiction. While not big in most circles, in the manga world James Bond is a major character in 'Moriarty the Patriot'. She retains all the slyness and cunning of her real-life male counterparts and serves as the very first 007 at MI6. (the series covers a primordial version of MI6's creation and the rivalry of the Moriarty Bros. and Sherlock Holmes on a quest to reform England.) So at the very least, a successful version of Bond as a female can be done well in a way that makes sense within the story.

If I recall Xbox actually posted a Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer on their channel only to take it off shortly after then it was presented as exclusive for a year

To put the significance of silent hill into context the entire series of 11 games sold around half of Skyrim. Loud and vocal but not numerous. P.T. was an excellent hour though.

Regarding Ratchet and Clank... I had never played a Ratchet game before so I played the 2016 remake and I was really blown away with how much fun I was having. Couldn’t put it down, a 10/10. Rift Apart has been just as been an absolute joy to play 11/10. The combat is much improved as well as the characters and activities and gameplay variety is excellently paced. We are lucky to have this one exclusive to PS5. Not to mention the most fucking gorgeous game I’ve seen yet.

Deathloop has never been acknowledged as coming to another console. It's a FF7R situation. It could happen at any time, but no one knows when. Ghostwire has been explicitly announced for Xbox.

Hey Colin, I will try to keep this short but I wanted to get your two cents on something I was thinking about concerning the topic of Scott Cawthon and also the ex-CEO of Mozilla, Brendan Eich (who was "outed" in 2014 after donating to Prop 8 and eventually resigned over the ordeal). I remember you had the Eich controversy as one of your topics on the Gameovergreggy show, where you were slightly upset that your co-hosts weren't seeing things the same way you were, which is to say that they did not think it was a big deal that Eich was essentially forced to resign because of the backlash from a simple political donation in a country where every individual has the right to vote and send money to whomever they please without fear of prosecution by the public or government. Eich and Cawthon's stories are very similar but in my mind there is one very important detail that separates them. Cawthon donated money to Trump, and it is ridiculous that people are taking that as a stance against LGBT when there are many different Trump policies that Cawthon could have sent that donation in favor of. Whereas Eich sent his donations directly to Prop 8, a proposition whose sole purpose was the oppression of a minority group. In the GOG episode, you were adamant that this does not make Eich a bigot, but I fail to see it any other way. Even if his beliefs stem from a devote religious background, that does not excuse away the fact that he was paying money to keep a group of people from enjoying a certain aspect of life that would bring them a step closer to true equality with their American brethren. Just because the bible tells you being gay is wrong, or a pastor tells you it is wrong, or just because someone is raised in the church and was fed that bullshit all their life does not excuse the fact (in my eyes) that Eich paid money to a cause whose purpose was to keep certain Americans from attaining true happiness and equality in their private lives. Personally, I believe Eich is a bigot and I was not unhappy to see him resign over the controversy. Cawthon's story on the other hand is quite sad and I think Chris really nailed it on the head with the "way out" theory. Sorry for the rant but I would like to hear from you if you have time! <3

There was one time that a Ratchet and Clank game arrived slightly glitchy/unpolished. But as far as I can recall, only one. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. The first game on PS3 seemed to have more bugs than I expected after 4 games on the PS2. They really solved that polish issue by Q4B, but the weird bugs I had early on stuck with me.

I had a series s for 6 months before upgrading. I think at worst it will run current gen games at "last gen" specs, like at 1080p, and 30 or 60 frames. IMO the only truly bad part about it was it ran base xbox one versions of games, and 900p is truly disgusting. But it actually can run a handful of games at 4k, so 1440p isn't a hard cap. Regardless I'm happier with the X now. They're making PC games and making specs to serve a lower common denominator anyway, so it doesn't seem like the S will significantly hold back anything as people say. Also my girlfriend cried twice during Hellblade, it hits close for some people I'm sure.

For me the s is a weird one too. You almost have no storage, and if you buy an expension card SSD, you paid more than the series x. And after watching digital foundry, a lot of times it's not only the resolution, but also performance difference a factor. Microsoft does a lot of work to make it as easy as possible for the developers (to scale down series x games for the series s) but still... I personally would have preferred an xbox series x digital edition like Sony did. I think Sony doesn't get enough credit for the ps5 digital edition. Because a ps5 for 399 is crazy. That's cheap as fuck! A series x for 399 would be awesome in my eyes. That said, 299 is off course a really good price to play next gen games. So I do understand parents buying the s for there children.

I think the storage isn't a big deal as many make it out to be. Obviously it's inconvenient, but you can delete things as you finish playing them. And I think the popularity of the Switch proves a lot of people don't care about specs. Of course many switch players do but it may even be their main system to game on. It will be interesting to see how the S handles things throughout the generation, but I'm glad I won't have to personally experience it anymore haha. I've been super happy since upgrading.

All this Blue Box stuff is so convincingly Kojima, that it would be truly absurd, nay, OFFENSIVE if it's not in the end. And I hope whichever game it ends up being is good too.
