It was an incredibly busy week for Xbox! The Xbox Live Gold fiasco, their first major Xbox Series X/S exclusive released, and Microsoft shared the company's recent earnings painting a clear picture of where Xbox stands as a division within the company. Even more crazy is that amongst all of this, there are rumors spreading of how one of the original Xbox's RPG exclusives may be making a return. That very RPG is Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic and it is seemingly in development at a studio not owned or dealing with EA in any capacity. What does this mean for the future of this Xbox classic and what scoops do Matty and Karak have from their sources? Topping off this wild week are confirmed monthly updates to Halo Infinite, share/capture changes inbound, and what could've been with a Jade Empire sequel!

Can’t wait to define Duke

Thanks for reading my question, guys! Great recommendations, I ultimately went with Hitman 3 because it was the best option I could find as well. Divinity was a great suggestion... if I didn’t already have it on PlayStation 😅.

Matty: For the record I’m right there with you. Despite the small population density of where I live there’s still a solid 10+ small pizza joints I’d rather go to before ordering from a chain. My thought process was just that nobody would find it relatable for you to list off some place that likely only you know about. I also thought asking about a chain was more consistent with the previous burger questions Karak: Your response is noted and I’ll likely refrain from more food questions. I know a handful of people that feel similarly to food as you do so I think I totally understand Cheers gentlemen

That was the deepest Star Wars dive I have ever heard on a gaming podcast... Now I just want some details about what this game will be.

Definitely a question and banter I enjoy, shame that isn't true for everyone.

What's the point of saying you know something you can't talk about? It doesn't add anything to the conversation and just feels like a bit of a flex that you have insider knowledge and is just frustrating for listeners who didn't really gain anything. I feel like this has happened multiple times.

Since you asked for feedback... I love your show, but I typically don’t get to listen to your show because of the amount of cursing. I commute to work with my son in the car, and it was enough that I turned it off, and I usually don’t even care that much (he listens to Colin and Chris, for example). That said, you don’t owe me anything, and I did go and give your show a 5 star review. I just wish I could listen to more of it.

Medium mediocrity is not surprising tbh. Xbox needs to step it up

Very true. They’re not able to even contribute to the speculation or guessing game of what developer is making KOTOR so what’s the point? It kinda comes off as they’re doing clues as a way to build hype or like you said flex.

I'm on Ep 1 now and my criticism so far is 'fake excitement level'. In other words it's like when you watch a YouTuber and the first 30s he's like, "HEY! What's up guys?! HahAHaHa I'm this guy and we gonna be a couple of goofy bois yuck yuck!!" And don't fake laugh. Seems disingenuous. Be like colin. I'm not asking you to not be yourself I'm just saying tone it down a bit. Calm voices then when you talk about stuff you're actually excited about it will sound more genuine. PC segment would be great since I'm getting into pc. Otherwise so far so good I'll keep trying/listening.

I think I am one of the few that enjoyed The Medium lol, although I went into it with very low expectations because it was coming from such a small team. Even though this game isn't for everyone personally I think it fills a void in the gaming space. Far from the best game, but I enjoyed my time with it.

It bums me out how much hate The Medium is getting. I absolutely loved my time with it. The visuals at times were absolutely stunning, I felt like the color and HDR really popped at times. The voice acting of supernatural stuff was very unsettling. Maybe it wasn’t groundbreaking in any way, but it was a fantastic experience IMO.
