CLS: A Week in Review (May 11, 2018) + E3 and Vacation Plans (Patreon)

What's up, fam?

I hope you're all doing very well today!

This week has been a productive one. First and foremost, planning for CLS Prime's (hopefully) June return is coming along nicely. I'm chatting with an experienced editor next week, I'm getting the outline for the script structured, and I'm excited to make it happen. I'm stoked about the topic; you'll find out what it is when the video goes live.

Since it's May, you'll also probably be curious as to what my plans are for E3 next month. I think I've come up with something suitably ambitious: Five episodes of Side Quest, one each weekday, from June 11th through 15th. I plan on doing an episode on each of the following companies, framed around each of their press conferences/showings/reveals/etc.: Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Bethesda. So you'll have tons of Side Quest content to look forward to that week.

That'll more than makeup for the fact that three weeks' worth of Side Quest won't be happening. The first is a predictable missed week: I'm going back to Philadelphia from May 30th until June 4th to record Wave III of CLS KnockBack, and simply won't have the time to make an episode of Side Quest happen the week before E3, meaning that E3 Predictions will go live on May 28th. And, after E3's furious pace, I'm going to take two weeks off from Side Quest, returning with a new episode on July 2nd.

In other words, three upcoming weeks will be missing an episode of Side Quest, but you'll be getting five the week of E3. So, actually, when the dust settles, you're gonna net +1 episode of Side Quest, total. Not too shabby!

KnockBack and Fireside Chats won't be interrupted at all. New episodes of both will roll out during my week in Philadelphia, the week of E3, and the two weeks I'm taking some much-needed vacation time. I'll still be checking Patreon daily and making sure everything is working (etc.) while vacationing, so you can expect me to continue posting, answering DMs, responding to comments, and more. I just won't be making Side Quest for a couple of weeks, because truth be told, I need a break, and I think that's the perfect time to take one. I need to spend time with my girlfriend, my family, and myself. I've not been great at that whatsoever in 2018. Not even a little bit. So I need to change that for just a couple of weeks, and, as always, I know you all understand.
