Net Neutrality is Essential (and Worth Protecting)!

Thanks for contributing your voice to the fight for net neutrality. The aspect of losing net neutrality I find most worrisome is that net neutrality is overwhelmingly supported in polls. Citizens and tech companies have been communicating their support for years. As you said, the only people benefiting from eliminating net neutrality are the telecoms and people who invest in telecoms, yet our representatives are siding with them. Our representatives are transparently being paid off (<a href="https://www.theverge.com/2017/3/29/15100620/congress-fcc-isp-web-browsing-privacy-fire-sale)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.theverge.com/2017/3/29/15100620/congress-fcc-isp-web-browsing-privacy-fire-sale)</a> seemingly without consequence. This seems to be a symptom of a greater problem in our current government. You are far more knowledgeable about government than I so if I have read this situation wrong I would love to be corrected.

It's terrible. All of it. I feel like it's a losing battle, and I feel like my voice means very little in this conversation, but I'm happy to lend whatever volume I can to the growing chorus against this probable disaster.

Fascinating. I always thought that it wasn't the everyday user who would pay more through "internet packages", but instead companies like Netflix &amp; Youtube who use a massive percentage of bandwidth, would be the ones being charged more. One option sucks, the other seems fair to me.
