Is Black Myth: Wukong like God of War or Souls? ft. David Jaffe | Sacred Symbols+, Episode 401

"Black Myth: Wukong" is the world's video game of the moment, with 10 million sold in just a few days beating even "Elden Ring." Is this game worth the hype? What's new and great and not so great about the game design and setting? And there's lots of debate about whether it's a "Souls-like" or similar to "God of War." So Gene Park is hosting this special episode of Sacred Symbols Plus and asked the creator of God of War for his thoughts on the design philosophy of "Wukong," and breaking down this game's design. David Jaffe

Honestly, the audio SEEMED fine on my end but it was being blown out on the recording end (and it was fine for Gene as well but I was not looking at the line...the audio line...whatever that's called). Usually Colin is there to catch it but neither of us had any clue, we were high as fuck, and both of us were also busy breaking totally different but still wholly illegal laws using our other monitors and thus we were preoccupied. Next time tho, we know what to look for :). Apologies.

Please Jaffe, don’t speak of Indiana Jones having movies without Harrison Ford… Chris Pratt is busy enough as it is. 😉

I like Jaffe and his energy and knowledge he brings but he’s the kind of person that is best in small doses…that personality can really burn me out fast
