After 72 hours of working any and all of my connections at YouTube, they‘ve decided to reinstate the video! This is good news for the future of our public channel.

Shame you had to edit it down because our clown ass society can't handle nuance in anything, and because people are too dumb to deal with misinformation without ending up misinformed themselves, so they have to be coddled and kept in the dark. That said, love to see you got it back up, and good that the precedent was set with channel around edge-case content like this. Good on you. Keep up the good work. Hell yeah.

This is great news, Andrew. I don't believe this video should have been taken down for "medical misinformation", as I think it's pretty clear from the context of the rest of the video that you weren't promoting those viewpoints. The work you're doing is important, and I'm really glad to see you striking out on your own. I really dig the tighter edit on the youtube version, rather than the 3 parts you uploaded to Patreon - definitely flows a lot better. If you hit more issues like the one with this video, feel free to reach out. I run a large youtube channel myself, and have connections with a couple youtube directors that make a point to go out of their way to help creators out when the system goes awry. They might be able to help if your current connections can't. You have my personal email in my patreon signup. Just want to see you succeed with the new channel!

I would have liked a post about what more Andrew did/had to do to get the video back. I thought his multi-point description of how it got taken down was really informative. It's interesting to learn and it was fun to read so more of that if they can.
