The tiles are extremely helpful to get a sense of perspective in a simple still drawing.  There was a time where I tried to draw close-up perspective without reference and people thought I made the character’s ass look like the size of a truck.  So that’s an important lesson I try to keep in mind every time I draw.

I don’t know anything about handbags.  Some of them have no “straps” right?  This one doesn’t.  That makes it easier to fall to the ground when she is attacked instead of it being slung over her shoulder.
