Similar to hands and fingers, feet and toes can convey expression but this does not happen that  often due to footwear.  It was also important for this piece because of the direction the worm was swallowing the second girl.  With her top half vored, the last we see of her is her legs and feet.  I felt we still needed to see her feelings of struggling even with her top half hidden.  With the bare feet here you can see tensing up and trying resist the vore.
