A little off topic, Sometimes I see the hips as an extension or appendage of the body, like a hand.  Sometimes women move their hips (sexualy) as if it was an appendage, using them to reach or press up against things with the spine as a moveable joint.  I find that interesting since I wouldn’t expect that from a central part of the body that contains so many internal organs.
