I wanted this to be a well lit scene, so the comic panels have white borders. I imagined this is how the girl wants her bathroom lit, and this hints that the scene takes place at night. Naturally we assume predators hunt at night, and that gives us some context into the nature of this parasite-woman relationship. She is a sort of prey for this creature.

I imagine the green liquid isn’t just to catch its prey, but also as natural lubricant if it needs a little extra help getting in her.

Partly why this parasite attack is so quick is, well, that’s just natural, like a snake striking a rodent. But I’d like to do some longer comics with more foreplay, which has just as much scientific credibility, but I didn’t have the time with my day job to make more ambitious comics. Now that I do have the time, I want to do one of those soon.
