I know it's not a new phenomenon, but I had been warned about this. I've  had to block three users from the page this morning.

Pledging to support me, then cancelling right before the end of the month is OK with me. If done once

Maybe you wanted to access the content, but you are really really poor and can't afford $2...

Or maybe you pledged, liked the content, and cancelled three weeks later for some reason without looking at the calendar, didn't realize you skipped the payment part...

Or maybe you were very disappointed and had to cancel, after looking at all the posts...

It's fine. We're all curious. I'm glad you were here. Hope to see you again.

But the next time, please don't bail right before the payment. It's not fair for anyone. And really, I don't want to start doing the pay-per-post thing, or publishing on the 3rd of the month after checking every patron paid. Yuck. It kills the inspiration and I don't have time for this shit.

But I will definitely checkout my patron summaries, and if see two cancellations before payment from the same patron, it's hastalavista.  (If you feel the need to contest, I'll hear you.)

I hope that sounds fair and respectful  to all you guys.

And again, thanks everyone for your pledges, it's the only way I can afford to continue my creations.

Cheers!!

(Pssst. It's 'hasta la vista'.)

There is an actual well known loophole in the payment system. My patron summary shows when they pledged (2 times) and when they cancelled (2 times), and the total amount I received ($0) It's not necessarily the patron's fault as I mentioned. One time I understand, but the second time it's obvious something is fishy. Anyways, I have the option to refund a patron who provides a suitable explanation (like 'I meant to cancel after a month but I forgot').

You create original work. You deserve to be paid for it. No further discussion required

Oh, I see. That's pretty weird.
