This video is the second in a series looking at Commander Dante. It shows how to paint his head, wreath and thigh.

The model is being painted to a high standard and will be covered in large amounts of NMM (Non Metallic Metal)

The following paints were used:

Games Workshop: Rhinox Hide, Mournfang Brown, XV-88, Balor Brown, Flash Gitz Yellow, Troll Slayer Orange

Vallejo: Ice Yellow (Dorn Yellow from GW), Black

P3: Morrow White (Any white will do)

Have to say, I totally agree with your gripe about 'forcing' a certain pose, on newer GW sculpts. I'm really not taken with Dante's pose, it looks passive somehow. But the ability to tweak the arms would pay enormous dividends. Now thanks to these tutorials, I'm gonna go buy him at lunch and see how easy it is to repose, for myself.
