Hey, awesome, will try to use this, wondering if I'd use the strippling technique on other colours, would you always recommend the black, gray, lighter gray even if going like red-ish ? Will most likely rather use this, just curious if would try other colours in the future

It will definitely work for other colours. If you check out the Imperial Fist Redemptor Dreadnought videos I use a similar technique but with yellow. I don't use the greys for that though. Greys will keep it darker and more desaturated, so a more grimdark look.
