Honestly I think it’s gross that the bonus dad said that family is non negotiable on this trip but is fine with the fiancée missing it. Guess she’s not considered family. Red flag! Especially since OP didn’t check bonus dad on that. This trip happens every year. Go with your fiancée on the honeymoon, or you go to both so that she still gets to go on the honeymoon this year

I feel like the husband in the second story had a surprise for the wife waiting for her when she got home. It may have required him to be at home which is why the bro in law had to get her from the airport and why he was rushing her and on his phone. I completely get why it looked fishy, but maybe time could play a factor in the surprise? I don’t know but my gut is telling me that’s what was up.
