July bonus episode is here with my dad, Jerry, acting as guest host. We took on the full theme of "Throw her away" for this bonus episode as I had so many stories left over after recording with Lauren for the upcoming episode. These ones are sure to leave you with big feelings..

The bride in the bridesmaid with the too small dress is NTA. Come on, assuming she’d cover the alterations or new dress, and getting upset and refuse to even attend is entitled and bratty. Yes the bride said she’d pay for the dress and alterations, but it’s pretty normal for that to mean one round of alterations, which she already did. Regardless of the reason for the weight gain, this sucks and I fully understand you are embarrassed, disappointed and probably hurt, but that is NOT the bride’s fault and you behaving like you are entitled to a new/altered dress on her cost is really really unfair towards your friend and is likely to blow up your friendship.

The design of the garment really dictates how easily it can be let out or taken in. From prior experience I would also say that generally they leave room for 2-2.5 cm on both sides to be let out, so 5cm or approx 2inch in total. Here in Europe at least. Would also say that bridal shop boutiques often charge a lot for alterations, and might not have the best tailors, so the bride/bridesmaid could take the dress and see what an independent tailor says.
