This movie is/was incredible for sure! I first watched this as a youngster. I was in grade-school when I watched this for the first time. (YOU BOTH MUST WATCH THE TERMINATOR (the original and T2) I don't know if I ever considered Dutch a hero for me, but I've always loved the character. Arnold was 40 years old in this. Crazy, huh?! I didn't realize that either until I just looked it up. Absolute madness. The dude's a machine! There's nothing wrong with preferring one over the other. Growing up, as a kid I totally preferred Predator over Alien. This movie was FUN and action packed. As an adult now though, Alien is what I like more. Not JUST because of the lighting but also because it's just a more thought out movie. There are a ton of moving parts and it all just works, which I feel is impressive. This movie totally works as well, but come on, Predator is such an easy film in comparison. Anyway though - VERY happy that you chose to watch this before Terminator. That one's my favorite and it holds a special place in my heart. Seriously enjoyed watching your full reaction to this! :)

This was the movie that made me want to be a soldier... All I can say is that my dreams and my fat ass had opposing ambitions.. fml
