I hate to say it, and I don't mean to discourage anyone, but it's incredibly hard to come back from that, especially after a certain age. Especially when you have limited money and no health insurance. I'm not saying not to take steps to better yourself, no matter how small they are. This movie is obviously an extreme circumstance, but there was no coming back from that in this film.

Also, let's stop recommending movies to Ash that require empathy. 30 minutes in and he's still laughing at how big/out of shape the main character is. There's only so much Hannah can do to rein him in!

What a fantastic move and great reaction. Ash I think you need to tone it down a little when watching these kinds of films. You used to let the film tell its story without trying to mock the protagonist if it’s a serious film. However still love to see the dynamic between you two.
