As we finally finished our time together, Melody and Obsidian were each glistening with sweat. I lifted them up and pushed several couch sections together to make a large bed.

“Let me get that off you.” I removed a collar from Obsidian, who sighed and rested her head against my thigh as I worked with my power and unhooked or unclipped the various straps that had covered her during our session.

Melody only wore a tangle of silk ribbons. She didn’t have the same heavy pressure marks that Obsidian’s cuffs or oiled jute rope had left.

I started to take Melody’s ribbon off, but she put a hand over the one on her throat. “Leave that one. I want to remember.”

Smirking, I did as she asked until both of them were naked except for the ribbon on Melody’s throat.

“Do you have any lotion here?” I asked Obsidian.

“Mmm.” She purred like a lazy cat ready for a nap. “Cabinet.” She pointed without looking. “Lotion is always in bright bottles and ruins the ascetic.”

I laughed, but opened the cabinet with my power and brought over a few bottles. “Turn over. I saw a few rough spots on your chest.”

Obsidian obeyed, lounging on my thigh.

Melody pushed herself up, watching me. “What are you doing?”

“After care.” I shook a bottle with my power and squirted lotion in my hand. I wanted to rub it in with my hands rather than my power. “It’s the most important part. You see, as the dominant one, not only do I get to use you two for my pleasure, but it’s my responsibility to take care of you. That’s what a proper dominant partner does.”

I found the rough red skin where the ropes had chafed Obsidian and rubbed lotion into the spot.

Obsidian hissed, and I wasn’t sure if it was pleasure or pain. For her, it might be a little of both.

Melody sighed and lay back down. “That’s nice. This was fun.”

“You really took to it.” I probed a little as I teased her.

“It was… easy. To just give you control and let you use me. There was no burden of thought or thinking about what to do. It was simply fun and pleasurable.” Melody nuzzled my leg, wanting some of the care I was giving Obsidian.

Switching over to her, I massaged her shoulders. She’d been held by her shoulders for much of the play. “That’s how it works. I can understand what you mean, but it isn’t in my nature.”

Melody hissed as I found a sore spot, and I added a little thermal energy to ease away the pain. “Better. Fuck you give fantastic massages.”

“Don’t get too comfortable. We’ll have to shower off, and then I’ll put some more lotion on you two. After that, we can get a little sleep before we have to face tomorrow. The BSH is going to be a shit storm, and I have a feeling Kim is going to get tired of dancing around my identity now while we deal with whatever Pratt and Hendricks are planning for Void.”

“Worry later. Shower and more lotion now.” Obsidian had turned into a little puddle on my lap. One that demanded my attention.

“Shower and lotion now. That I can do.” Levitating both of them off the couch after our brief respite, I ushered them into the shower.

I took in the space as we entered the palatial bathroom. Obsidian hadn’t spared anything for the shower. Four shower heads circled the tiled area and quickly were steaming up the room.

Under the hot spray, I worked both of their hair.

“Miles. We are going to New Haven soon, aren’t we?” Melody asked.

I grunted. “Likely. But first we need to talk to the military. I’m not sure how that’s going to go or what Pratt is going to ask of you.” My hands continued to lather her hair, and I worked the shampoo down its lengths. Though, maybe we just fucked off without Pratt’s knowing. At this point he wasn’t working with us.

“I’m team Miles and Void all the way. Pratt can shove it. Besides, I want out of town before Mickey Hills comes looking for us. After crushing his enforcers last night, I don’t know if he’s going to sit back. I was already starting a minor struggle with some of his people.” Melody leaned against me, her rear brushing up against me and making some of my blood pump south.

I did my best to ignore it, knowing we needed some sleep.

“If Mickey comes for you, I’ll just crush him to set an example. And Pix didn’t give us a timeline. I’d like to let the dust settle from last night before we disappear.” I replied.

“We disappear?” Melody questioned my wording.

“I think I need to stop beating around the bush with Kim. As much as I am terrified of actually telling her, I have to face the fact that she already knows I’m Void.” I mused, not at all liking the idea of telling her my secret.

I didn’t know what Kim would do with the information, and there was something in me that doubted I could ever paste her even if I needed to do it. I didn’t like that vulnerability.

“It’s probably for the best. That way you can head off to New Haven and she can cover for you.” Obsidian said, pushing a little closer for her own attention.

I pumped some soap and started on Obsidian’s back while Melody rinsed out her hair.

“We should talk to the rest of the group before you do that. Beatrix included.” Melody came out of the shower spray, and I loved to watch her as she pulled back her wet hair working the suds out.

“Yes, this affects all of us.” Obsidian agreed, now including herself more fully amongst my harem.

“Shower, rest, and then we’ll deal with it in the morning.” I didn’t want to know how close the morning was. Down in the lair, it was hard to tell the day from night. But based on my internal sense of time, it was likely far into the night.

“You forgot lotion.” Melody reminded me.

“Yes. Then we’ll sleep down here.” Obsidian agreed.

“In the bed?” I teased her since she’d been tied up in the corner on several occasions.

She actually gave it some thought. “Yes. I think I’d like the warmth. You’ve given me much to think about.” Her gaze shifted down, and I knew she was thinking of the clones below.

I raised an eyebrow. “Penny for your thoughts?”

“I need to move on. Either see if there are any memories left in them, or fry them all and know that my past is just that, the past.” There was both pain and a new determination in Obsidian’s eyes.

Melody took her hands. “Don’t worry, we are in this together. Besides, Angelina is a great therapist.”

I had to drag myself off the leather sofa that we’d slept on when Mona invaded my dreams.

That was fun. I didn’t know that I could do that, nor did I realize you had sex dreams. Mona sounded like she was all smiles.

I don’t normally have sex dreams, I figured you were part of that.

Nope! She sounded excited that it had been an all natural sex dream.

The sex dream had been about her, well, the popstar version of her.

Have you tried singing again?

She hesitated. Yes. It was very enjoyable, but please let me practice a little more. I can feel your curiosity and after that dream… well maybe it would be fun to put on a little show for you. I could put together an outfit like the one you imagined.

I felt my cheeks warm at the idea. She had been in a skintight, asymmetrical popstar outfit with plenty of shimmering sequins.

Yeah, we can try that one night. But for now, I’m going to get up.

Melody and Obsidian were still sleeping soundly. I hated to wake them, but we needed to get up.

Yes, you do. Stella is making brunch, because it is already too late for breakfast and your tablet has been nearly exploding with messages from Kim. She is not happy.

I doubted she’d be happy given the present circumstances, but I also didn’t care too much. It was my weekend off.

“Wakey wakey. Time to get dressed, you two.” I pulled Obsidian and Melody up with my power and clothed them in darkness so that they weren’t uncomfortable as I carried them up to the room.

“Already?” Melody stretched and groaned.

“It’s brunch time, or so Mona tells me. Get dressed and then meet me at the table and we can discuss some things as a family.” I replied as we got to the main floor of the manor and I lifted them up the stairs.

“Miles!” Stella waved a spatula as she cooked in nothing but an apron. “It was a long night without you, but Beatrix let me sleep over.”

“I see you brought her along.” I joked, seeing the analyst at the table.

Beatrix blushed and waved her hands. “Nothing weird happened, she just used me like a giant teddy bear.”

“Sounds about right. Besides, you’ll have to be careful. Stella has been hungrier as of late and her power can kill.” Thinking about it, I walked over and offered Stella my hand.

She pressed herself back into me and sucked on my fingers as she wiggled against me, draining ki. “Ah.” She let up after only a few moments. “Much better.”

“So there was a reason that she went from Demon to Demoness?” Beatrix asked, curious with the development.

“Her power is leaky, and she only takes ki, the energy behind powers, from other living things.” I sat down at the table. “So, if she runs dry, then her power quests out around her to restore itself. Hence the state she was in before me.” I explained as Stella dropped a stack of pancakes far too tall for me.

“That’s why he’s my master, and I’m his lovely succubus.” Stella smiled so brilliantly my heart ached.

There was a small pop in the room as Emma appeared on her new amethyst throne, looking incredibly satisfied as she lounged in it.

It felt excessive to us it to teleport to family brunch downstairs. Then again, it was still early and she was probably still in that lazy stage where she just wanted to lay in the sun.

“Are you going everywhere with that now?” I asked.

“Why not? With it, I can even pop back home for little catnaps during the day!” Emma giggled and took her spot at the table as Angelina joined us too, shortly followed by the other three.

Everybody was present.

“So. Mona, can I have my tablet?” I held out my hand, and she handed it over with a blush.

“I was just watching it for you.” She replied quickly.

But I was distracted from her intentions by the volume of urgent messages from Kim. I needed to talk to her, but first I needed to talk to my harem.

“Given what we know, Kim already knows I’m Void. But we’ve been dancing around it because she has some fear of what will happen when it’s no longer a secret, and I have some psychological block against telling people my secret.” I set the tablet down. “So. I’d like to tell her and get it in the open so we can work through last night’s mess.”

“Are you sure that’s such a good idea? We’ve been working up towards that, but this is definitely skipping a few steps.” Angelina put down her fork to look at me.

“It’s the best idea I have. We all knew that me going with Melody was already going to raise some alarms. And I now realize that Stella isn’t going to be able to last long without me around. We need Kim’s support.” I was fairly confident that it was the right move, but I wanted their opinions. I’d gladly take a way out of the current mess.

Emma sighed. “She’s going to want to nose her way in here. I can feel it from her; she wants to shape you.”

“Too fucking bad.” I growled, a little heat in my tone. “She already shaped who I am when she made me public enemy number one.”

“Deep breaths, Miles.” Angelina patted the air.

I grumbled under my breath. Best that I don’t start pulping the furniture again. “Her history aside, I still want to tell her the truth. So far she’s proven to be on my side.”

Stella turned her attention to Beatrix. “What do you think? You’ve known her longer.”

Beatrix hesitated as all eyes were on her. “She seems to be very interested in Miles. Obsessive even.”

“Duh. Master is the best.” Stella stuck her tongue out.

Angelina ignored Stella and pushed forward with the conversation. “That just shows that Kim, if included at all, will push for more and more involvement with Miles.”

“But we do need her, or at least, we need some help to make our New Haven trip work for this family.” Melody pointed out.

“Right.” I nodded. “I don’t see a way out of telling Kim if I’m going to leave the city. I could make up some bullshit excuse like visiting family in Coast City, but I think we all know she won’t buy it.”

Everybody around the table nodded with my assessment.

“Well, I’m fine with telling Kim. It’s your secret, Miles. But I refuse to let her in the harem.” Emma crossed her arms.

I looked around the table to nods of agreement, but Stella’s swishing tail told me she wasn’t sold on the harem part.

Mine. My Miles. Mona came through loud and clear in my head as I felt her mentally curl herself around me possessively.

My women clearly had different ideas about the expansion of our harem.

“What of us that are still connected to you and may not be entirely clean of villainy?” Obsidian asked.

“Have you done anything villainous this week?” I pushed Obsidian knowing that she hadn’t been active since joining, even if she played like she was keeping her options open.

She paused. “No. But I’m building my lair.”

“That you said also houses a legitimate business.” I pointed out.

She frowned. “If you push me, maybe I’ll just have to go on a robbing spree.” Obsidian frowned a little. I knew being a villain had been a huge part of her identity. It would take some time for her to figure out what she wanted in the future.

I held my hands up. “Don’t mind me. Just checking in.”

Picking my tablet back up, I paged through some notifications. “I’ll head in and talk to Kim. It seems that Pratt and Hendricks are at the bureau too. So it’s a party. I’ll see most of you on patrol later today.”

That caught their attention; we were supposed to be off.

I filled in the missing information. “They want all supers ready in case Void decides retribution.”

“Which won’t happen because you are the one who gets to decide that.” Beatrix pointed out, but the rest of the girls were quiet. She looked around uncomfortably. “Things won’t go bad, will they?”

I shrugged. “Not planning on it. But I won’t close that door just yet.”

I stood up from the table. “Everyone get ready. We are leaving in ten minutes.” Pratt and Hendricks were going to be a pain in my ass, but I needed to play the game if I was going to get my harem out of this without issue and progress my own goals of going to New Haven.

Seems like tension between the central characters soon. Is Kim needing to make up to Emma by serving her for a month in a maid costume? Seems like there is a precedent.

Ray

I imagine Pratt and Hendricks shitting a brick the minute they learned that their assassination failed. And think back to that contract that they wanted him to sign! He's a villain! What villain honors a contract!?
