“Yeah! Beatrix.” Stella caught the analyst in an enormous hug when she entered the manor after our long lunch in the park. “Don’t worry, I’ll show you around the place.”

The analyst cast me a pleading look for help, but I knew there would be no talking Stella out of playing hostess.

“Have fun, you two. Don’t break her, Stella.” I watched Beatrix’s eyes grow wide, smiling to myself in satisfaction. It was too easy to tease her.

You are playing dirty, my fated.

That’s the only fun way to play. I quipped right back.

It was the weekend, and we had the day off. I was glad for a bit of a break. Another team would cover our patrols for the day, letting the heroes rest and conserve their strength.

But when everybody was home, the manor was quite full.

Melody came up from the basement, her hair wet from a shower. “Hi Miles.”

“You were having fun this afternoon. Stalking my date in the park?” I asked.

Melody’s eyes went wide. “Oh shit. That’s right. The fucking hero was blowing up the tops of buildings around there. She chased me forever. I’m glad she got exhausted.”

I curled an eyebrow and waited for it to hit her.

“Oh. OH. You did that?” Melody’s eyes lit up in realization.

“I kind of wanted her to stop blowing up buildings around the park while I was on my date. Was a bit of a mood killer. Plus, it seemed like she was a dog with a bone.” I slipped my arm around Melody and brought her into a side hug before walking the manor with her.

“Are you doing alright with the villain act?” I asked.

Melody bit her lip and blushed a deeper purple. “I’m not so sure it is still an act. It’s…”

“Intoxicating?” I finished for her, knowing exactly what she was going through. “When you have that power over people, it is better than the best drug high.”

She licked her lips. “Yeah. I can understand why people don’t stop being villains after they have enough. But I wanted to ask if Void would want to do a round with Velody?”

“Round?” I asked, not quite sure I wanted to go on a crime spree as Void.

“Yeah. At one of the villain hangouts.” Melody was nervous, but very excited at the prospect of going out on the night with my villain persona.

Oh. A round of drinks.

She’d already proven herself as a villain, so it would only back her power a bit if I showed up with her.

“Sure, after dinner, we’ll head out.” It sounded a little fun to go stroll around as Void and get a chance to catch up with her.

We kept walking, entering the kitchen. The room was busy as a pair of Obsidians were hard at work fixing dinner while the main Obsidian was sitting at the table. The table was extended, a new leaf set into it, and the others were sitting around it.

Stella came back around with Beatrix in tow. “This is the kitchen. Where we eat. Miles makes the best food. He could become a big shot chef if he ever let anyone know about his power.”

“You cook?” Beatrix asked as she tried and failed to pull away from Stella.

“Let me show you.” I lifted my hands and parted the two Obsidians that were working. Then I took over the meal preparation.

The clone had slabs of Salmon cooking, but I lifted them into the air, wrapped them in the oil from the pan and finished cooking them perfectly.

Next I took the potatoes that were boiling and let them join the salmon in the air, dancing as the water picked up to a furious boil.

“Wow. It’s a dinner and a show.” Beatrix was placed in a chair by Stella, who scooted her own chair closer.

The rest found their seats. I was feeling like the table was starting to get a little more crowded than I’d ever expected.

“Don’t worry.” Stella seemed to read my concern. “We’ll only take the best.” She put her hand on her cheeks and turned to watch the food as I made it dance in the air while it cooked.

I tried to focus on their enjoyment of my cooking and not on the mass of women I now had around me.

“Hi, Doctor Wells, didn’t realize you’d joined.” Beatrix waved at the mad scientist who was just exiting the door to the lair.

Doctor Wells paused, looking over at me to understand how much Beatrix knew. I gave her a nod that she could give the basics.

Walking over, Doctor Wells answered Beatrix. “They let me experiment on Obsidian’s clones. And I believe Miles holds the key to solving the gender imbalance crisis.” The doctor took her seat, and I laid down a glass for her, pulling out several bottles of wine and filling everyone’s glass.

Beatrix nodded along. “That’s high praise. So, you are trying to solve the crisis for the world?”

The table paused.

“Eh.” Stella gestured with a wobbly hand. “Miles is in it because, along with the cure, he’ll get a second power. But don’t worry, once I get to marry him, I’ll get to have his babies, and then it’ll be great.”

“Babies.” Beatrix’s eyes went wide with shock. “Not ready for that.”

“Neither am I.” I sighed. “Stella is just being Stella.”

Stella ignored my comment, closing her eyes and rubbing her flat stomach.

“At least we have some normalcy in Mona and Melody.” Beatrix smiled at them, but the rest of the table was quiet at her words.

Should I tell her my fated?

Nope. Let her think you two are normal as long as she likes.

I interrupted the conversation as I plated the salmon on a bed of lemon zest, mashed potatoes, and a few sprigs of asparagus. “Dinner is served.”

“Wow.” Beatrix speared a piece and spoke with her mouth full. “This is really good.”

“I can control energy, which includes thermal energy.” I said, digging into my own food. “So cooking is easy once you get used to gauging the right temperatures. The rest is just for show.”

“Doesn’t matter. It’s yummy.” Stella dug into the food with a gusto.

I shook my head and got down to business. “So, Melody, how is the project Velody going? Looks like it was going well today.”

“Very well.” Melody paused mid bite. “I think that Daeva’s people are going to approach me tonight. That’s why I wanted Void with me.”

I heard Beatrix mumbling something about clearance protocols as she chewed her mashed potatoes, but she didn’t stop our discussion. At least she was learning.

“What about Kim? It seems that Obsidian failed and had to go to plan B with Beatrix.” Angelina pointed a fork at the analyst.

If Beatrix was offended by being currently part of plan B, she didn’t show it. She seemed quite happy at the current arrangement.

“Kim highly suspects that I’m Void. Our little trick with Mona pretending to be Void didn’t work out. If anything, she’s more convinced because I asked for Void to join Melody.”

“How’d Mona pretend to be Void, anyway?” Beatrix asked.

Mona shoved her way into my mind and asked to be wrapped in my darkness.

I did it, and suddenly Void was sitting at the table.

Beatrix jumped. “Okay. That looks like Void.”

“I live in Miles’ mind.” Mona admitted as I dismissed the darkness around her. “I’m a telepath able to form a single connection, and I’m connected to Miles.”

“Oh.” Beatrix didn’t quite know what to say to that. “So he’s the augmenter, too? Kim figured that when you started sleeping at his place, by the way.”

I nodded. Kim wasn’t stupid. Mona had come with the purpose of hunting down the augmentor and then ended up in my place. Really, it was pretty obvious.

“So I just listened to Miles’ thoughts and acted as an extension of him while pushing thoughts for how I wanted him to use his power.” Mona explained. “Thus, we were able to create a convincing Void.”

“Only it didn’t work.” Beatrix pointed out. “Kim was convinced it was Miles because he asked, and Void agreed to help Melody. She doesn’t believe that Miles would do something like that. She thinks that he’d want to be there himself.”

The table was quiet.

“Welp. She’s got you pegged.” Emma’s plate was already clean of the fish, and she was licking what oil remained off her fork. “At what point do you just come out and tell her?”

“Whoa! Hold on a second.” Melody had her hands out on the table. “We can’t just tell her. She thinks Miles is Void and has been giving him a pretty wide berth. If we tell her, what happens, then?”

Stella tilted her head curiously at Emma. “I thought you’d be the last one to want Kim in on this harem.”

I held up my hand. “We aren’t talking about adding her to the harem.”

“Why do you say that?” Emma ignored me and responded to Stella.

“Because the few times I’ve seen you with her, the two of you stare at each other like rivals about to throw down.” Stella pointed at Emma with her fork to emphasize the point before she went back to stabbing her food. “Although I could suppose you could also want to fuck.”

Emma laughed. “She just wants to be Miles slash Void’s mentor and knows that he looks up to me. Kim hates me because I have something that she can never have.”

Beatrix frowned, looking between the two of us and clearly missing some context.

“Emma taught me to use my powers and to be a villain.” I added for Beatrix’s benefit.

“Ah.” Beatrix nodded. “You were a villain?”

I shrugged. “Nothing too spectacular. I used to be a thief and occasionally killed people who got in my way.”

The analyst's eyes suddenly wandered the table as everyone present seemed to be perfectly okay with the words I said. “That’s not a casual statement, but none of you are reacting.”

“I couldn’t control my power and killed a lot of people in the beginning. But Miles fixed my power, and now I’m just his sex slave.” Stella smiled with her mouth full, rubbing her butt against the seat.

Yep. Completely normal, nothing to see here.

Angelina nodded. “I was running a small drug and petty theft operation until he pulled me in to work on helping villains recover and return to society as functional members.”

“He helped me have something productive to fixate my obsession on and then with Angelina’s help I’m in therapy.” Mona piped in.

Obsidian looked around and realized it was her turn. “He breaks me so deliciously. I feel full for once. And he gave me space to make a lovely lair where I can continue my critical operations.”

Wells shrugged. “He gives me interesting things to study and insight into how powers work. As far as I can tell, he’s just selfish, not really evil.”

“Oh, he had his evil moments.” Emma laughed. “When he first came from the incident with Fortress, he was so mad at the world. It was hard to curb him from just smashing things whenever he got a little hot tempered.”

“Still does it.” Angelina interjected. “Therapy couch number five is a testament to that.”

“Wait, you are all in therapy?” Beatrix asked, looking around the table.

“Duh.” Stella stuck out her tongue. “After Miles has therapy, we do group sex to reward him. Have to keep him mentally healthy, and Angelina has great insights for keeping the harem tight.” Stella giggled a little at the end.

“What about you?” Beatrix focused on Melody.

“Well…” She hesitated. “I had a lot of self-esteem issues from the start. And they kind of imploded as everyone got really strong. Now he’s teaching me to be a villain so that I can regain my confidence.” She gave me a flat stare. “Yeah, it wasn’t that subtle.”

I looked away playfully. “No idea what you are talking about. But you are looking better recently. Confidence is sexy.”

Melody snorted. “Glib tongue.”

“Oh, he’s terrible with his tongue.” Emma threw out. “You really need to ask for these new tentacles of his.”

“Tentacles?” Beatrix’s eyes went wide. “I thought you could just manipulate energy?”

Stella shook her head. “They are energy. It’s this wormy wiggily thing he does with energy like it has a form and he can feel them and they are WONDERFUL. Like peach cream smothered in peanut butter and then with some stinky cheese sprinkled on top.”

Everyone around the table except Wells had been nodding up until Stella’s preference for ice cream. By that point, she’d lost us.

“What? I used to eat weird things when I didn’t know you had to pay for groceries.” She huffed and crossed her arms under her chest, lifting it for all to see. “But forget all that. Now I’m hungry for other things.” She eyed me.

“We have two guests at the table.” I glared at her.

“But your succubus is hungry.” Stella stood and smacked the table with her hands, letting her chest swing above her plate.

“I-I don’t mind.” Beatrix was blushing all the way to the tips of her ears.

“This would be interesting research. You’ve said that you drain some of his power to feed?” Doctor Wells pulled out a notebook and started jotting notes.

I looked at Obsidian to see if she’d object.

“I’ve already seen it plenty of times. What’s another?” She smiled, knowing she was keeping me from getting out of it.

But I had another card I’d been saving. “Emma, I have to go to the bars with Melody here soon. I was hoping to work on your throne, but it seems that Stella is going to take up that time.”

Emma’s eyes flashed dangerously. “My throne?”

“No! Kitty Cat, he’s mine. My master needs to feed his succubus.” Stella licked her lips and slowly sank under the table.

“I don’t see why he couldn’t do both.” Emma raised a ruby red brow. “Let me go get the crystal. If you make it quick, I’ll wash your back in the shower tonight.” She offered Stella.

“Quick!” Stella cheered as she slipped under the table.

“Oh.” Beatrix shifted when she was bumped aside as my succubus torpedoed past her under the table. “She’s quite eager.”

I felt my pants unzipping quickly, cold air immediately rushing along my cock before it was swallowed in the wet, warm bliss of Stella’s mouth.

Her power went to work immediately, and it felt like there was a buzz of feathers brushing up and down my entire body as she drained ki from me.

“She’s actually more like a succubus that most people realize.” Mona explained to Beatrix. “Stella needs to feed on Miles to keep her body satiated, otherwise it begins to suck ki from anything and everything around her.”

I tuned their words out as Stella went to town, quickly forgetting the extra guests as hormones coursed through my body and all I could think about was Stella’s mouth sucking me dry.

I’d love to see Kim just snap and attack Miles to force him to prove he’s Void. Great drama potential. (Ignore me Bruce, I just like to speculate).

Will Kim get wind of Velody and Void meeting and try to crash the party? purely speculation
