Hey guys, that’s the end of Supervillains 2. I’m very happy with the inclusion of a second editor. My books are selling well, and I owe it to all of you to work to improve the quality as much as I can. I was behind on this one by about 2 weeks from my normal cycle. The shift had been happening for a few months, but glad to have a break.

I’ve sort of been on break here the last few days, though my wife would argue that I’m incapable of taking a break. I managed to not write for about four days, which is the bulk of my time, but there are lots of other wheels that I keep spinning.

Already writing again, though I’m playing with the two new series ideas in my head.

Might clean up a few of those to share with you guys.

Also perusing artists looking for a nice anime style for more character art. I love artist shopping. Yanai is working on some boxed set covers for Mana and NSFW art of the dragon covers this month. I’ll start posting the NSFW art as I get it. Maybe 1 mid month and another at the end of this month/beginning of the next.

I’m trying to buy more art here on my time off, mostly cause it’s fun to get art of my characters.

Now I have the biggest question I’ve been struggling with is if I table Dao, take it out of the rotation. I think that’s what’s going to happen here and I’ll move onto Dragon 5 for my next book.

It is very frustrating for me. But I am having trouble getting back into Dao and shifting between third and first has historically been problematic.

Otherwise, things are going well. I’m happy for the break and to reset my writing/editing cycles so I can get this 2nd editor firmly into place.

I played a whole civ game, gasp. I have no clue what to do with my free time.

Also, I have some fun news. After some long negotiations, I’ve sold a license for Mana to a web comic studio. I argued with them for about two weeks, but I got the contract to a point that I’m comfortable giving it to them and eager to see what they produce.

As more comes on that front, I’ll happily share when I have more news.
