Hey Team,

That’s the end of Mana 5. Hope you liked it and are ready for the final book here in a few months.

I’m churning out Dragon 3, and it’s off to a nice start. I stumbled a little and redid some of the early chapters. This one needs to be just right. But now I am on chapter 9 for the story, feeling good where it’s headed. My alpha reader is on… checks notes… chapter 2. So going to have to give them a big prod to catch up.

Things are going well, though I’m not really finding the time to get back to Monstrous Horizons.

With moving to a book a month, my word count per book has dropped from the 125k-135k range to around 110-115k words a book. Trying to get some more words in Dragon 3 and then I would like to make the first book of Saving Supervillains a fucking tome. Planning this one for a trilogy.

I’m excited for SS. The goal is a very morally gray MC out for himself, mix in a villainess determined to crack his icy exterior, add a pinch of backstory and a pound of superhero origin story to make something that I think will be great.

Oh, that’s right, SS will be up next after Dragon 3. It will take Dao’s place for a single cycle and then after the conclusion of Mana with book 6 it will fill in for mana in my cycles.

We’ll finish dao up with books 4 and 5 and then introduce the next new series this summer. I’m calling it Warlock for now. Though that’s still a ways out and I’m tossing around a few names to see what sounds good. It’s an apocalypse system type story with the MC being primarily a demon summoner.

Not sure what’s going to happen with Dragon as far as series length, people love it, yet the harem audience in general doesn’t do a great job of sticking with series. I like the characters though and it certainly has more story to tell.

Audio is going slowly. But I’m trying to work with the narrators to keep it going. Threet just finished up Dragon 2 and it is being proofed.

I still very much want to dabble a little outside HaremLit, but I’m not sure of timing and honestly my books are selling too well for me to want to slow down on Haremlit.

There’s a poll up for next month’s art. I also booked two slots with Nopeys towards the end of Feb, I think I’ll have him do Feb but they might be a little delayed because of it.

The previous artist unfortunately is having issues and there’s been some discovery by other authors that he’s using .psd files from fairly famous patreon artists in his work. I’ll probably move away from him after he finishes this last one for me.

All in all, things are well. I’m well and I’m happy to be doing something I love.

SS sounds exciting. Love all your series. Will there be another Mana Trilogy in the future? I hope you can avoid burnout at the pace you are creating books. Your series are some of the best in this genre hands down due to the quality of the work.

I've always found that my interest wanes when the harem gets so large that characters get left out or I have to go back to previous books to figure out who people are. When the characters have so little content (because there are so many) it becomes hard to get invested in the story. Any more than 4-6ish becomes really hard for me to follow.
