Hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and hopefully some downtime of your own.

Another book down. Dar is growing exponentially. If he gets a celestial dao in book 4, then just how stupid powerful will Dar be in the ending for book 5? Really stupid powerful. But it’ll be fun, epic battles.

I’m already chugging through Mana 5. We even have another mother-in-law scene as we head to Blueheavens and start the drama in Wenxi’s family.

Dragon 3 is on deck and I’m mulling over where exactly to take the story. Morgana is off and true to her character, she’s going to be trying to solve her problem. Of course, that’s just on the surface, as she’s also running from her feelings. Zach has to crack that shell of hers, help her, and deal with some new attention that will come with The City in the Shade. I think I have the basic outline for Dragon 3 down in my head, but I often let my characters flesh out the finer details as I go.

As for me personally, things are going well. Settling into a 1.5-2 chapter a day routine Mon-Fri, with some dabbling on the weekends, but it is freeing me up to do some more family time and fun writing on the weekends. I'd say 'recharging' because that's what everyone says the weekends are for, but I love writing, so there's really nothing to recharge from.

I’m getting a little eager for another new series. Not that the current ones are bad, but there is always something enjoyable about starting fresh and the outpouring of creativity that comes with a brand-new story, with a new cast and world.

Dabbling in the next two planned series on the weekends, but I’ve rewritten the opening to them several times. Even gone and written about the big past event that shapes the characters. Big focus for my own improvement on this next 2 are the side characters.

Audio is going well. Threet and actors everywhere were just so much easier than the others I’ve used. Got Dragon 2 setup with them, Mana 4 with Gilliland and Dao 2 with BB. All starting in January. So, I’ll just be busy while also hammering out Mana 5, getting to the endgame in that story too as his Mother's family lurks on the edge of the story so far.

As for art, the 2nd piece from last month is due to be finished the first week of the new year. Sorry for the delay. Hunting for a new artist during their busiest season was, in hindsight, not my best play. But I’ll do another poll for art here and get those on track, the new guy is proving to be reliable. The theme for January will be them in the gym, working out.
