Ajax finally got through security and wade his way through the crowded masses. Sarah had said to meet him at the bar by the gate if he had time, luckily he didn't cut it too close.

He saw Sarah sitting at the bar facing the oncoming pedestrian traffic. She saw him as soon as he walked up.

Sarah bounced over with a goofy grin. She didn't seem to mind the onlookers as more than one middle aged man was distracted from his overpriced airport meal.

But how could Ajax blame them. It wasn't his first time out in public with Sarah and she had a tendency to attract stares with her generous hips and chest packed on an otherwise thin frame. She also didn't mind showing them off with her skin tight jeans and low cut shirt.

She wrapped him up in a hug that squished her chest into his and Ajax was keenly aware of her warm breath on his neck. It felt like she was about to kiss him.

Ajax returned the hug quickly and shifted his neck away. It wasn't still he pulled back and saw the warm flush on her face that it hit him.

"Isn't it a bit early to get started?" Ajax teased. Sarah had always been touchy feely when she got a few drinks in her, normally she held back.

She scrunched up her face and pouted. "You took too long and I hate flying."

Ajax dragged her back to her seat at the bar.

The bartender came around and he waved him off.

"Noo. Have a beer. On me. He would like an... IPA." Sarah paused to think before ordering from the bartender.

Ajax knew better than to argue when she was like this. It had been a long time since he had seen her past a light buzz.

At least she had remembered what he liked.

The bartender went to the tap and left them to talk.

"So you really got that bored waiting for me?" Ajax teased.

"Yes, been waiting for like a dozen years." Sarah sighed with more meaning than the obvious. She looked Ajax in the eyes and started to say something.

The bartender returned with Ajax's beer and Sarah deflated with the distraction. What ever she was about to say lost.

Sarah had a sly smile as she slipped the bartender payment for the drinks. When Ajax let her, she gave a taunting smile "Not going to fight me over it?"

"No, I think the girls in LR really changed me." Ajax had told her about Sky and MissyQ when they had dinner last. He realized she didn't know about Daphne and Adriana yet.

"Oh, tell me all about them. You still smitten over Missy? What is your favorite thing about her?" Sarah bombarded Ajax with questions wearing a happy grin.

Ajax realized it had just been a week since they last talked, but so much had happened. Both in the game and with his love life.

He told her all about filling out their group with Daphne and Adriana. The dungeon and how the king was rewarded for his acceptance of Richard. Finally how they got out of Tyren and have been leveling for the last two days.

Sarah didn't spare the chance to rib him about adding more girls. But she kept circling back to Missy. If Ajax didn't know any better he would think she was jealous of Missy.

Their flight was called and they got up to board, the entire flight was filled with people sporting BRG shirts, it felt like everyone was going to the convention and a few people even recognized Sarah asking for photos with her.

Ajax took it all in stride as the boarded and sat down together.

The drinks must have gotten to her because Sarah practically wrapped herself around him started murmuring something about being MissyQ before she nodded off against him.

"Is your girlfriend going to want anything?" The stewardess asked coming down the aise.

"My g-girlfriend? Uh no just... she's fine she doesn't need anything." Getting flustered by her mistake Ajax stumbled.

The stewardess giggled like she thought it was cute.

Ajax just leaned back into the seat and closed his eyes hoping the burning on his cheeks would go away.

Luckily the rest of the flight was uneventful, that was till we landed and Sarah woke up.

Since then she'd been on edge looking at Ajax every few seconds like she was waiting for a bomb to explode.

He really didn't know what was going on, but he'd better sort it out soon. "Everything okay Sarah?"

"Uh, yeah. I just expected a bigger reaction?" She hedged watching him for said reaction.

Ajax assumed it must have been something she thought she said while she'd been tipsy. It didn't matter what it was though. "Like something like that would get between our friendship, come on Sarah."

Now she was looking at him like he had three heads.

Okay, maybe that wasn't exactly the right thing, but he'd thought that would cover most problems that she could have brought up.

They stepped out of the airport to the arrivals lanes under the departure. The shady, cool air breezed over him and suddenly made everything he was about to do so much more real.

Ajax didn't have time to think of all that before MissyQ stood up out of her car and started waving. Her chestnut locks bounced as she tried to get his attention, her green eyes so vivid even in the shade.

The biggest goofy grin spread across his face. Gosh, she was even more beautiful in person wasn't she?

"There she is Sarah. Fuck, I can't believe this. Pinch me." Ajax teased.

Only for Sarah to pinch him, hard. Incredibly hard.

"Ouch, damnit Sarah." Ajax pulled his arm away and noticed Sarah's frustrated frown.

She breezed past him waving to Missy. "Hey bitch."

"Where are you going?" Ajax asked. He thought she had her own ride, but now she was joining them?

Before he got two feet the shady arrivals area lit up as dozens of cameras started flashing, the lights reflecting off everything in a haphazard blur that just made Ajax frustrated.

"Come on hunk, lets get in the car before we give the paparazzi a show." Missy stepped forward and pulled him into the self driving car.

He sat down and pulled Missy into his lap for a hello kiss.

She smiled into the kiss and hit something on the door, the windows instantly tinted and blocked out the flashes from outside the car.

"Hold up." She pulled away breathing heavy and spoke to the car. "Take us back home."

The car didn't respond besides shifting into drive and leaving all the camera flashes in the dirt.

Ajax sat back, it was a comfortable six seater, two benches facing each other with the forward end of the car to his left.

"Where do you think you're going?" Melissa crawled back into his lap and started kissing him on the neck.

He couldn't help but let out a satisfied and eager groan.

That was until his eyes shifted to Sarah watching from the side awkwardly.

"Melissa, maybe we slow down? At least till Sarah can escape." Ajax tried to make a joke of it, he felt bad with how awkward Sarah was looking.

Melissa shook her head. "What are you waiting for? Come join us." She said over her shoulder to Sarah.

"What?!" Ajax nearly jumped out of his skin.

But one look at Sarah made it ten times worse as he saw all the blood drain from her face.

Melissa's head shot back and forth between the two of them before she cursed, "You didn't tell him yet?! Are you freaking kidding me? You said you'd do it."

"I-I was going to. I got a few drinks, then..." Sarah trailed off looking properly chastised at the floor.

He needed to pause this and understand. "Hold up. Both of you what is going on?"

Melissa leaned back giving him room to breath before shifting and plastering herself to his side. "You are on your own." She said to Sarah as she snuggled in.

"Wait, first off you two know each other?" Ajax blurted out.

"We used to date actually..." Sarah started and looked at Melissa for help, but Ajax wasn't having that shit.

"What do you mean, you used to date..." His eyes nearly bugged out, MissyQ and Sky used to date. No mother fucking way.

Try as he might he tried to overlap Sky with Sarah, but it just wasn't working. He had to ask. "Are you Sky?"

"No, I'm Sky." Melissa said from his side.

Ajax turned to her his mouth opening and closing for a moment as he tried to piece his brain together with that revelation. "Then who was MissyQ?"

Her eyes shifted to Sarah and it was like Ajax's brain just shut down.

No.

Fucking.
