I start getting the feeling that I can't make anything unique anymore...

I recently bought a new choir plugin.. (the tribal sounding woman in the track) for 100 bucks, yet my newest compositions feel so boring and stiff.

I'm not completely unhappy with this one, but It won't find a place in my heart.

Small spoiler alert:

I was composing this track for a scene where Shira gets into a conflict with her people. She belongs to a group of tribes as well, that's why I decided to get that vocal plugin.

Mh, I don't think it's that unspecial. At least not at the start. I couldn't see your problem at first, but I think the "genericness" you're describing starts arround 1:20. This kind of "choir with repetitive sound pattern in the background" is basically the core of quite some of your compositions. I wouldn't say that's bad per se, it's kind of your "musical identity" by now, but it's true that having a definitive "unique" song gets harder and harder as time passes with that formula.

That's one part, but even if every few seconds has a completely new tune, I don't expect it to sound much different. That's my difficulty there.
