Hello my patrons! I'm finally getting back to opening mail call items!

I have almost made my way through the current stack of unopened things which means I can finally start to get back making episodes about the backlog! There will be another 3 or 4 videos in this new SMMC format (As I work through the current pile) and then I'll jump back to some of the older style mail call "on the bench" videos. This will be old unboxing footage going back to 2022 and possibly even 2021!

The new format is so much easier for me to record and the nedit up. It really allows me to keep up -- but it really does weigh on me that I have this old backlog of stuff. That should hopefully be remedied soon!

This episode has a bunch of cool projects in it -- it just shows how resourceful and awesome this community is.

Thanks for all your support!

The Retro-ADRU-Input looks really cool as I'd rather like to have a USB mouse/keyboard combo + gamepad permanently on the bench I can then just use with all the different machines.

Hey there Adrian. Regarding Logo, there were most certainly later versions of the software. In particular i'm sure there was an Acorn version of the draw software we used in UK schools in the 90s. PLUS there was an actual mechanical 'turtle' with motors and a marker holder. The marker would be inserted through the top, and the commands sent over what I assume was serial cable, and the 'turtle' would execute the commands drawing out the image on paper on the ground or table. Random memory unlocked haha.
