Hello my patrons! I just got back from being away on holiday and I'm back in the basement! (When I go on holiday I totally disconnect, so I'm barely touching my phone let. (And I didn't even bring a computer with me.)

For the next second channel we have another SMMC video -- we are up to episode #45 -- it's amazing how these videos fly by.

I'm starting to build up a very sizable pile of stuff for SMMC -- so I really need to start opening up new packages again. The worst part is I still have last year's stuff to get back to! I keep wanting to go backwards and start working on those, but the generosity of all of my viewers keep new packages coming!

(I currently have 28 backlogged things going back as far as Jan 2021!!!!!!)

Anyway, November is nearly upon us and I may have to do a "no effort November" to catch up ... but on the other hand, compared to some channels, maybe many of my videos are like that already!?

If you've sent a message or email or made a comment, I am going to try to spend some time in the coming week to catch up. We shall see how that works out!

Oh, side note - I think I saw someone make LED strips to replace the aged CCFL backlights. Could be an interesting PC archaeology episode, rejuvinating a display backlight?

I know you want to give fair screentime to every donation, and I think it’s a nice thing to do, but perhaps an LGR style unboxing to get caught up a bit would be fine, and then make videos on the more interesting things?
