Hello my patrons! Sorry I have been slow to get second channel videos up here. I have a few "in the bank" but they aren't edited yet, so this one will come out next Wednesday, and I will spend some more time this weekend editing up the rest. (I like to have a bank of videos available to release, to take the pressure off, so to speak!)

Now speaking of pressure, there is an absolute huge pile of mail call packages waiting for me to open! I just go so busy between VCF and Septandy -- so hopefully this month I can do a few easier videos so I can spend some time opening the mountain of packages. Of course.... I also have the huge backlog from last year too!! It's all waiting to be edited into a video once I film the old "On the bench" segment.

(This is why the new format works so much better for me, it prevents the huge backlog I was getting last year.)

Anyway, enjoy the latest video, and thanks for all the support!

On today's SMMC, I finally get to try out the Panasonic Omni monitor with RGB! (It uses a Japanese RGB connector which isn't common in the US.) I believe that is an EIAJ 8 connector. Retrobits did a video about a similar Sears monitor that used the same connector. https://youtu.be/3imb-gRdT0M EIAJ = Electronic Industries Association of Japan

Finally got to watch this! If you're getting that "Skifree Dog Pee" dark yellow on your TTL monitor, check the service manual or schematic for a toggle. I made a video back in 2016 about "fixing" a 14" PVM with TTL RGB, which turned out to have a switch buried inside to enable/disable brown. You can search "retroswim pvm brown" on YT and you'll find it :)
