Hello my patrons! I'm still battling my recent round of COVID am still improving, little by little. I think the majority of the infection is gone but I'm left with the usual respiratory garbage you get from things like this.

With me having no main channel video this past weekend because of being sick, patron David Giller thought maybe I could whip up a "SUPERCUT" of the Plexus P/20 series.

I've never done anything like that, but I was just sitting around the house this weekend, so I thought "Sure, why not?" So I spent today editing up one massive SUPERCUT of the entire five part series. It's a bit over 4 hours long!

There is some internet "wisdom" that these types of (super) long-form videos actually can do well for creators over the long run. They can be something fun and interesting for a viewer to go back to at some point in the future to revisit an entire topic start to finish. Having one long supercut is easier to consume in that way than multiple parts.

So with the raw footage still sitting on my NAS, I figured it was worth a try. If it's a complete failure it might be my one and only supercut, but who knows, if it works perhaps I can edit up previous multi-part series into these types of videos. (Please give me feedback if you have any interest in watching this kind of thing)

Please note there is no new footage in this video (besides a short intro) so if you've already watched the entirety of the Plexus P/20 series, you won't be missing anything by skipping this.

Thanks for all your support!

Great idea ideed! I like to listen to your long videos at night when my insomnia hits real bad and this will be excellent for that purpose! I hope you will mix future Plexus videos with a bit of the regular "lighter" content as well though. Get better soon!

Sorry to double-post, but I wanted to add another data point on its own. A lot of Minecraft YouTube creators who participate in multi-week group games where a group of players log onto the same server every week for 2-3 months and each upload an "episode" of the series once a week will then post "Minecraft Series: The Movie" that is, effectively, an hours-long supercut both for people who couldn't keep up with the weekly drop schedule and also to take advantage of the algorithm. So, just anecdotally, as an observer, there appears to be quite a bit of precedent for this approach.

Did you ever find a tape for the PLEXUS? I noticed this guy had a UNIX tape for 68K tinyurl.com/SystemV68. Hope you feel better.
