Hello my patrons -- continuing on the Mac theme lately, I had these two left for dead Mac motherboard that someone gave me and I wanted to at least do a test-and-try video to see if these poor old motherboards could possibly work anymore. They have both pretty interesting RAM expansion boards on them -- one which I can find no information about.

So let's see if I can make these poor old things live again, especially with the chonky RAM board installed.

Thanks for all the support!

Can I get these "Left for dead" Mac motherboards working? (Mac's-a-million RAM card)

We have two Macintosh motherboards that were found in "left for dead" Macs that were reportedly completely rusted and destroyed. Both of these motherboards have period correct add-on RAM expansion cards which can introduce many more variables into getting the motherboards working again. Watch to see if I can get these two motherboards working again! What I figured out is these machines both have Mac Plus ROMs, so technically they can run it, but yeah the memory limitation might still exist, so I would have to bodge on more memory. It would require a completely new board unfortunately. It's beyond my abilities unfortunately -- and surely just much easier to use a Mac plus motherboard anyway.

If you have any dead Mac Classic/Plus cases you can populate this board into you have a spare now or you can use this as a test board for Macs you are fixing.
