Moving forward.... current updates to patreon funds (Patreon)

hi to everyone supporting my content

it has come to this point in time that I've feared the most, that my content has finally got crushed by the algorithm that was already showing its signs back in 2022.

now come 2023, and it has gotten full beast mode and has more or less destroyed every content I've put out.

This month in april is considered the worst in terms of views, earnings and engagement. Everything I make cannot get the sustainable views required(100k views within 24/48hours) and I've gotten more and more burnt from projects that I invested the patreon budget into that did not work out.

I have a fearful feeling that this is going to be the status quo, and if it is, I will have to again shift all patreon budget into personal use mode/taking the funds for personal livelihood/support for doing animation content that will not do well at all on my channel.

my last budget use is planned for a monster hunter NOW skit that I'm budgeting $1000 from the patreon budget to be paid to nyangtofu to help me out, but moving forward, I'm not going to be doing the transparency reports again as I cannot afford to keep utilizing the patreon funds as animation budget anymore unless things change where my animations gets the proper sustainable views.

I know I've been very transparent and upfront for 5 over years? listing how much money is being used to pay voice talents, animators, sound editors, anyone who is involved under me. that was during the golden age of my content where my content is able to earn me a sustainable income that I dont need to touch my patreon funds for personal support.

but now, I think the tides have change. if you solely support me to see me put the money to be used as animation budget/pay other folks, I'm afraid I am unable to fulfil this criteria until things gets better, so I will understand if you will stop your pledge and support but thanks for everything you've given, theres no way you will indefinitely keep giving me money for this endeavor anyway.

But if you're still on my side, to just see what "I want to make" and just support me for every flop animation I put out on my channel. my thanks again for your generous support and believing in my craft.

I never wanted to do this but I can't believe we've arrive at this point where I really don't know whats going to happen in the next 3-4months doing this. If things get better, I will again phase this out and will again go back to making good use of the patreon budget to pay staff for better animation production.

But thanks again for the support and believing in my content. you guys really got me to where I am now. And thanks again if you're deciding to leave and I hope you enjoyed and got out of what you wanted from my content.
