About the tutorial

In this tutorial I demonstrate a nice, 5 notes sequence designed to memorize the open shape of the pentatonic scale and start to familiarize yourself with its musical qualities.

The tutorial covers:

- The pentatonic scale shape (diagram is available for download)

- Right hand technique

- Holding the root

- Alternating major / minor root, learning the different musical qualities of the major and minor scales.
