BTS: Desiree Development (Patreon)

Here are the initial sketches of Desiree I produced with MiruYuyo! Desiree's design borrows heavily from a scrapped lead character early in the production process, but more on her later.

I wanted Desiree's design to embody Emma's gay internal conflict of "Do I want to be her, or do I wanna be *with* her" lol

While Emma is refined and kinda stifled, I wanted Desiree to be more devil-may-care and feisty, so their personalities would compliment each other. But now that Emma and Desiree no longer speak, Emma now has to be the supportive and courageous friend to Jack and Jordan.

Also, yes it's no coincidence that Desiree and Jordan have similar... characteristics lol
