The Real Issue With Faye's Cowboy Bebop Live Action Outfit

After quite the stunted development, visuals for Netflix's live action Cowboy Bebop are finally available and, as expected, they censored Faye Valentine's outfit. I'm sick and tired of the insults we fans keep getting for wanting an authentic production, so let's go over all the excuses they're making for the new look. What amazes me is that Netflix still has money to make this kind of crap. Their He-Man show bombed with the fans for similar reasons as well as other recent works and yet they still have cash to push their woke garbage.

Frankly I have no issues with the new costume. I think it's far more attractive than the anime version. I'll watch the first few episodes and see how they handle the actual story before I decide on the actual show. But I think all the whining about how the costume isn't "authentic" is just bullshit.

Well, I certainly hope you can enjoy it. I feel my concerns are plenty valid, though.

It's called failing up. Somewhere in this pipeline is perceived success, and I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix finds this kind of outrage good for publicity.
