The Absurdity of JRPG Grinding (feat. Dai-chan)

Grinding, Farming, whatever you prefer to call it, is a bizarre process for anyone who's used to playing JRPGs. On one end, it's therapeutic and empowering for the player. On the other, it's a real drag that removes players from their immersion. Dai-chan walks us through her experiences with grinding, and which games handle it better than others. Funny how I got this notification just before I was going to log back into FGO for more farming.

Grinding is one of the things that can make an otherwise amazing and enticing JRPG seem rather daunting. In the end, it's all about how your personally allocate your free-time towards playing them. I just don't recommend anyone try my "when I'm in the mood" strategy. You'll just end with a gaming backlog longer than your arm. :(
