Of course I like certain violent games. The fantasy violence of JRPGs are some of my favorite game action. It feeds the creative imagination I have and gives me the same rush of excitement I get from certain anime like DBZ. And more graphic games and anime have their merits too. Sometimes the graphic nature of games like BioShock or Alien: Isolation lend to the atmosphere the developers are trying to create. And the works just wouldn't be the same without them. And it's hard for Imagine what anime like Guilty Crown or the Fate series would be like without their fair share of bloodshed. It's just part of the story-telling. Of course, even I have my limits. Games like Mortal Kombat are a turn-off to me for the focus on gore. Corpse Party is just plain depressing to me. And anime like Kara no Kyokie also try my patience.
