An idea for the puzzle for a dungeon. Idea is from the very cool NSFW game Trials in Tainted Space. I was curious, if it will be easy enough to recreate a simpler version in RPG Maker or not, so I made this test location. In the future this type of puzzles might be used in real dungeon, but I want to replace the default button with something more interesting looking and more thematic.

On the video you can see that pressing the button also switches bottom on the left from it, on the right, the bottom one and the one on the top, if there are any. Goal is to get all of them in pressed position. Green switch on the top  just resets it to the random starting combination, for the demonstrating purposes.

I really love the zelda series and I have seen it there as well. In Links Awakening DX there is a couple of these puzzles in the color dungeon. Instead of switches they are some kind of colored domes that changes color when you hit them with your sword. There is even one of these puzzles where they can have 3 kinds of states; red, blue, yellow. I think this could be a fun puzzle in your game. Feel free to make them big, because I really like this kind of puzzle. Instead of buttons it could be crystals. They could change from shining to not shining. RPG-maker must have some crystals assets that you can use :)

If the switch doesnt resets them to random combinations in the game so you have to be lucky to solve it. I think its a really good idea i really like puzzles and if you get a sexy reward its even better

Hollow49

The classic light out puzzle. Be aware there are comfigurations that can't be solved. (https://mathworld.wolfram.com/LightsOutPuzzle.html). It's best to ensure that any puzzle actually used in the game can be solved.

Hollow49

It should be possible to generate the random grid by effectively starting from the final state, pressing a few random switches once each (with the effect of switching their neighbours as well). This guarantees at least one solution (pressing the selected switches).

I personally never played any Zelda game :) It's fun to know. I think simple puzzles can be fun, but I don't want them to be too big. Crystals is a good idea, but I want something that is possible to step on, so it will be quicker to just run past without the need to activate it. Maybe tiles that start to glow, or some lewd bas-relief

yeah, there is a small chance that the puzzle will randomly solve itself if that's what you mean :D I will think about sexy reward

Reminds me of the old Lufia puzzles, good times.

Buttons can be made in the form of butts or breasts %)

whilst it looks fun, I can see a puzzle like that bothering me after a time

The buttons can be anything that can be in an on/off state. Such as, for example, bowls that can be filled with/drained of, er, some liquid. ;) Or statuettes that can be covered with said liquid/magically clean themselves - there's already a precedent for that. You can also somehow tie the switch toggling to the lust or hunger meter, turning the puzzle into a resource consumer.

These are fun ideas :) I want to keep activating it as less time consuming as possible. Ideally player just need to run over it
