Real talk, 99% of my personal work I do for me. I don't create any of my personal work looking to make anyone happy other than myself. 

Most times it's to push myself and see noticeable progression in my art. So when a huge personal piece that I spent a metric mecha ton of hours into gets enjoyed by a metric mecha ton of others, I'm actually sincerely taken aback by all the support.
