Change In Direction (IMPORTANT MESSAGE) (Patreon)

Hi guys!

So, I didn't expect I will need to write something like this, especially so early after I came into this community. But I guess it's needed. Recently I was apporached by another big modder, with the request to not take inspiration by them. 

And, I do understand that when you are creating in a smaller niche, like farming related, it might be common to overlap your ideas sometimes. I did admit I used as a template their description when I was publishing on ModThe Sims, since it was offered to me for good example of mod description and I kept using this template because it's systematic and consise, yet it gives all the needed information about a mod. I am not a native English speaker, so I did look up to certian words, to make sure I write them correctly in my mods. But most of the time, I take wording from articles I read on the subject. But now people are coming at me, claiming that I stealed from this creator, and that's not okay. I never planned on 'stealing' ideas, I had no idea there is upcoming mod like the one I released.

With that being said, I've been modding for myself the last 3 years, I never needed to look for other creators, whatever i needed in my game i made it myself. I am not used to keep up what other people post, and I am sorry if somehow my mods overlap already existing ones. 

So, I decided from now on, I will make polls, and I will work only on ideas chosen by my Patreons. I don't want this negativity, I didn't start sharing my stuff, just to be called 'stealer'. 

And I know I can't prove my innocence, and the only thing I have left is to change my modding direction and start looking what others create, so I won't overlap with them.
