First of all, I wanted to thank all of my new patrons!! It makes me super happy to see this page growing the way it is - if it keeps up, before too long I really will be able to work full time on this game which would be pretty phenomenal :D

In other related news, thank you all for your patience waiting for updates! I've been building steam working on this as my time becomes more open again with the school year finally ending, so I'm hoping for some serious progress to be made over the summer. Things might not look too flashy to start - I've primary been working on optimization and modularity under the hood alongside the named features I've put out, and while each one usually only amounts to a single footnote in the changelog I can promise they're well worth the effort - already these changes have made it much easier to keep updating code going forward, have prevented numerous inevitable bugs and helped me find several more, made the game work and run smoother, and have enabled these systems to be much more adaptable to change! Kinda important stuff, especially for stuff like fitting more than 2 prey ;p

In the most relevant news, a new beta should be ready within the week, namely featuring the rest of the melee system's workings (knockback and KO all enemies, proper sfx, as well as several enemy tweaks to make them function better in combat) along with another boat load of bug fixes.

Edit: And before I forget to mention AGAIN, sprinkled among the next 2 or 3 updates will be massive UI improvements as well as hopefully proper menus for any necessary meddling!
