Highly recommend the Queendom Destiny performance to hear with life but still more true to the recorded version. Plus it was their final performance on the show so it was epic

Yes! Thank you for this reaction! One of their most epic award show performances in my opinion. There’s also a good reaction video of other idols watching this performances and being in awe. A popular one was Han from Stray Kids’ reaction where he’s totally fanboying over their performance. Fun fact: Hwasa said that she believes Destiny is their best song they’ve ever made. It's been a hot minute since I saw this and damn it's so good. The long slow intro is fantastic, Destiny is personally one of my favorite Mamamoo songs EVER and if they ever made an album focused on this kind of go-hard-or-go-home epic sound I'd die on the spot. It does kinda suck that they obviously sang and rapped live (you can hear their breathing at some points and the echo of their live vocals with the feedback of the crowd) but I think the awards show drowned them out in post with backing track, mostly during HIP. Like at 7:22 you can tell there is no backing track over it at all and in other parts they cover up the live vocals 😒 Nothing to be done about it because awards shows will just do whatever they want to but dang! Gonna go watch every Destiny performance they ever did now bc I'm so hyped up, thanks for the reaction:)

I've been saying this countless times but Moonbyul's rap is one of a kind and her low register is VERY crucial (but sadly overlooked) to that famous MMM harmony. I've been an alto in a choir, and boy was it hard. It's actually easier for me to learn the higher key because it's usually the melody and goes with the key of the song. I can switch voices and I prefer to be a soprano if I'm being lazy. lol. Being an alto requires some serious dedication. Moonbyul is so dedicated to her position in MMM and she's the most holistically healthy member because I don't think she's ever been absent in any Mamamoo schedule, not once in 6 years. Even when she's sick/with a small injury, she pushes through. What a champ.
