December Sketches (2/2) (Patreon)

Alrighty! Last sketchdump/patreon post of the year (yippee!). Here's to many more artworks in the future :D

First up, we have some figure studies, mostly of fat and tummies. For someone who draws rounds a lot, I have a surprising lack of plus size bodies and that's gotta change. So I sat down in a coffeeshop between errands, pulled up Pinterest and other means of reference images, and got to work. I also wanted to practice drawing things "softer", more squishy, so I did a pencil shading study of one of my favorite sculptures by Bernini. While these aren't necessarily the most horny things in the world, I'm quite proud of them.

Next I drew some Blakes and one of them featuring a Choux. I've noticed I haven't drawn him as much as often, neither as much as Choux. Perhaps my next work for the new year will be of them haha. I miss my anxious homebody lad and his eccentric lolita girlfriend.

Second to last is a concept for another oc. A curiouscat suggested I make a chubby oc and I've been meaning to add another oc to my repertoire of Poff n Co.'s story. So have this edgy guy for the time being! I'm gonna bloob him later >:]

And finally, as per usual, the sketch/draft of the full color. As seen, there was originally dialogue to pair with the image but it kinda threw me off? No matter where I put it in the image it just didn't look right to me. So, I opted for just the image. You can kinda see my inspiration from the shading study in this too.
