Honey Bee Boytoy (Patreon)

A while ago on Twitter I mentioned drawing a chonky bee lad, the idea around this actually arose due to some neat facts I found out about honeybees!

Drones (male bees) lack stingers, do not collect pollen or nectar, basically need to be fed by workers (female bees), and biologically their only role is to have sex with the queen bee.

So, what if in a honeybee fae colony, a handful of lucky drones get fed to the point of supreme chonkiness like the lad above for the sole purpose of being the queen's main squeeze for a night or two?

It's a highly respected position and an enviable one at that. Many honeybees would love to be in the shoes of the fattened bee and just as many in the shoes of the queen :D
