The Witch's Familiar (Patreon)

Aoi (They/Them) seems to be more concerned with the properties of the strange juice filling up Susumu than changing him back to normal.

I drew this duo on a spur of the moment sort of thing but their dynamic is growing me. Susumu has little restraint when it comes to food, meanwhile, Aoi is the impulse control (but only when they wanna be).

Also a bit of lore! Aoi actually Evan's cousin so their magic strains are similar (both are healers with blood that acts as an all-cure of sorts.) I guess purple and teal color schemes run in the family lol. However, Evan is leagues more powerful due to training while Aoi only just started their independent studies as a witch. Choux tutors them occasionally and treats them like a little sibling she can spoil (despite the fact Aoi is like, 21 years old lmao).

Susumu on the other hand isn't related to anyone or really friends with any of the crew. He was summoned as Aoi's familiar at the start of their independent studies and well, was surprised the person who summoned him was a 5'4 gremlin zooted on mountain dew at 3 am. Despite his powers and stoic demeanor, he's quite weak when it comes to food, especially sweets. Which gets him in situations like the above quite often...

I might expand more on their relationship as time goes on like what I did with Evan and Poff (old fans might remember that in the beginning Evan and Poff weren't even bfs yet lmao) but we'll see. Friends or not, I am excited for these two to be added to the Poffverse.
