This is a cleaner shrimp I drew in 2012.

And another cleaner shrimp I drew in 2018.

Cleaner shrimp are probably quite famous among sea shrimp that are not eaten for food. They live symbiotically with the fish, cleaning them off parasites. I love those shrimp and have drawn them a few times, but I really wanted to draw them properly someday.  I thought it would be cute to draw them cleaning. They are mostly red and white, so I also considered drawing anemone shrimp or Cleaner fish together, but the colors didn't seem to match, so I left it out

Their long white antennae are kind of their characteristic. If I were to draw only one shrimp, I would probably draw the antennae long and more. But if I draw many of them in one canvas, it would get complicated. Like the peppermint shrimp I drew a while ago, I drew it close to a shy shrimp design. (Peppermint shrimp is also same family with pacific cleaner shrimp)

The right side definitely looks more complicated with more antennas.  

Personally, I like the ones with longer antennae, but since they are working hard at cleaning anyway, people will not have a problem recognizing them as cleaner shrimp even if their antennae are short 😁

They will brush teeth very well.

Also called blood shrimp. Somehow It felt similar to cardinal shrimp in freshwater (Caridina dennerli)) Both are very cute and beautiful.

They are shrimp-like crustacean. 

I have the feeling that all shrimp will do their work diligently and well.  I would like to ask them to clean my room 😆 And I will prepare lots of delicious food for them.
