----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A while ago, when I drew a fox, the raccoon dog was from the same canine family, so I looked at their information together.  In English they are raccoon dog and raccoon, but in Korean they are called 'neoguli(너구리)' and American neoguli. (That's why I suddenly drew a raccoon in my last sketch [wip] Fox.)

The raccoon dog  lives in East Asia, and until now, and I've never actually seen a raccoon and I only saw the raccoon dog twice from afar. so I thought the two raccoons were of the related 😅  They are named that way because they have similar faces, but they are not actually related. I suddenly realized that I really don't know much about mammals. So, I decided to take this opportunity to study by drawing a raccoon.

The way they hold things with their hands or stand on their feet is so cute.

The long tail reminds me of a lemur... This animal is called ‘tiger tail cat’ in Korean. My first impression of them is that they look like weasels with the faces of sugar gliders.

kinkajou and olingo look very similar. Their big hands are cute. And I think the tone the name gives is really happy..🥹

After drawing it, I think I can clearly see how different the raccon dog and raccon are. 😁

and raccoon butterflyfish😝

Thank you!

That's cool. There are a lot of people who like raccoons, so I feel like I should draw them 😆

I love kinkajou!! they are so cute and eerie when photographed at night, with their big reflective eyes!

It wasn't a kinkajou, but when I was drawing a ringtail, I saw a picture of their eyes glowing in the dark. so cute! So I can imagine what kinkajou looks like
