Since fox received the most votes in Animal Drawing and Popularity Vote', it was chosen as the next work :D

I drew a fox once 3 years ago~

Flying fox / 2020

As always, I took the time to study about foxes. Foxes are members of the canine family. Maybe it's because I have a dog, I feel more comfortable drawing canines than feline. Their large ears and fluffy tails set them apart from dogs. Dogs' tails are raised when they are happy, but foxes seem to be more comfortable when their tails are lowered.

I suddenly felt like I wanted to draw a raccoon in the future, so I drew a little bit....

Foxes look different depending on where they live.

Foxes living in dry, hot areas have large ears and it helps in dissipating heat. on the other way, Arctic foxes have small ears and thick fur to conserve body heat.

The faces of the Tibetan fox and the Bat ear fox are really fun and cute.

This is the completed sketch. The characterization was a bit difficult, so I had to redraw it several times... 😅 Personally, I think resting or sleeping foxes are so cute, so I drew a lot of comfortable poses.

Color thumbnail. Looking at it like this, the Arctic fox stands out a little more than other foxes, perhaps because its color is bright. They are white in winter for their seasonal camouflage. And in the summer it's gray. Maybe I can draw a version for another season...or not 😁

Have you seen pictures of arctic foxes shedding their winter fur?

Nature's Witness: Blown Away : A molting Arctic fox reveals a bit of nature's magic.

My goal is to complete it within next week!

Thank you :D
